Former world no 1 Rafael Nadal backs into the action. His knees passed the first test at the Montreal maters. This time the Spaniard teamed up with his fellow coach Francisco to beat Dusan Vemic and Novak Djokovic of Serbia by 5-7,4-6 in direct sets. It was positive sign for Nadal’s return. It takes nearly two months for nadal to pass his first test after the shocking French open defeat. Nadal said, “It’s great to be back and I had a lot of fun playing with Francisco”. Between the two month gaps, his rival Federer carried his Wimbledon title along with the world no1 ranking. Meanwhile, the former women’s world no1 Kim Clijsters of Belgium returned to the court at WTA Cincinnati open. She returned with fabulous win against 12^th seeded Marion Bartoli of France by 4-6, 3-6 in direct sets. Clijsters retired in the year May 2007, married a American basket ball player and gave birth to her daughter in the year 2008 February. She played strongly, as she lead the first set by 4-0 against the French star and owned the set. During the second set also, she lead the French women by 4-1 and fought back from 0-40 in the last serve to take the match with her.
